My interest in the paranormal began in adulthood, having experienced some rather odd events, however I was, and still am sceptical of the whole "spirit" thing leaning more towards the science side of things. Some years ago I qualified in psychology and tend to look at this as explanation for many experiences people report as in their minds paranormal. I like to think of myself as an open minded sceptic however and spend time learning about mediumship and even giving it a go when the opportunity arises.Career wise I spent many years working and training in mental health but now prefer to put my time and energy into working with the paranormal.

Very much Love and Light, fluffy bunny, quiet and reserved type stuff. OK maybe that's not quite true !!

I have what I guess people would describe as a strong personality, if I believe in something or think I'm right I will stick to my guns however I am also ready to admit when I'm wrong. I have what I would call a dry sense of humour although I'm sure some people around me would suggest it is more a funny and well meaning sarcasm. Basically I tend to find the strangest things funny.

I am one of those people who is a little unpredictable and no-one is quite sure what I'll say or do next (even I don't know until I've done it) !!

I'm also, in my more serious moments, a bit of a thinker and have to work out everything and anything. I love discussions about theories and the possibilities of the world around us. Sometimes this goes a bit too far and I end up thinking about why I'm thinking about the things I'm thinking about. Think that would drive the people around me mad ? Hey think how I feel, I have to live with myself !!

Hobbies

My main hobby is photography. I love getting out there with my camera and taking shots of anything from wildlife to sunsets and pretty much anything inbetween. I also enjoy doing art work and playing the guitar. I used to play the violin but decided there was already enough suffering in the world so I don't do that any more !!

When I get the chance I do like to relax with a good book, mainly Patricia Cornwell novels about Forensic Pathology..nice gentle reading !!!!!

Loyalty, justice and fairness.

Animals of all descriptions (apart from those that come under the heading insects...see "dislikes" )

Music from a time when the lyrics meant something and the base line easn't the ONLY thing you could hear ! I especially like Queen..no-one else has ever come close !! And I have nto admit to liking sa bit of country music too but only the good stuff. I want to make it clear I don't wander round the house singing D.I.V.O.R.C.E !!

Anything to do with Harry Potter or Pirates of the Carribean (well we all have a child in us ) !!

Where to start ????

Personality traits is the best place I guess. I hate jealousy and envy, especially when they lead to people trying to destroy another's happiness. How sad must people be in thier own lives to strive to do this to others ! I hate bad manners and lack of respect or any type of discrimination and one of my pet hates is people who pretend to be oh so loyal and spiritual and caring, but when it comes to it run a mile before getting involved in something to help a friend or collegue out.

On a lighter note I hate anything with Babara Windsor in (so Eastenders went by the by), and would never watch the Good Life because of Felicity Kendal. I also dislike any music where there is no tune and you can't understand the lyrics (I am sounding worryingly like my parents at this point ) !!

I dislike most insects especially spiders but try not to kill them because as a member of the team keeps reminding me "they are God's creatures too".....yeh right !!!!

Being a sceptic but seeing how closed minded people can be about the beliefs of others and also seeing how much discrimination there is in the world around us through ignorance and preconcieved ideas has made my favourite quote

Inspiration

I get inspiration from so many people and places. As far as work goes I am inspired by the other people around me. Their motivation, ideas and enthusiasm inspire me to be the best I can be at what we do. When things get hard I get inspiration from our two grandchildren whose unconditional love and innocence bring out the best in me. Being loved as I am by my missus and knowing that such love exists gives me the drive I need and stops me focussing only on the negative around me. And friends, those who care about me no matter what ..they give me inspiration to keep doing what I'm doing.

Things of beauty, a fabulous landscape, the stunning coast and the power of nature inspire my artistic side and make me think how lucky we are to have what we do in life.

How will People Remember Me When I'm Gone ?

This is a difficult one !! I think that those people who have known me well would remember me as being slightly insane but harmless enough !! I'd hope to be remembered for my sense of humour and my drive to get things done especially when it comes to fighting for justice for those I care about but I'm pretty sure I'd also be remembered for being one of the most clumsy accident prone people ever. Hopefully I'll be remembered with a smile rather than with tears.
